SUMMARY
An 11 O’Clock number refers to the final large, show-stopping number that occurs late in the second act of a musical. Think Rose’s Turn, Cabaret, Memory, and others. This cabaret draws on the 11 O’Clock numbers in the musical theatre canon and brings them together to create a vibrant display of talent in a constant emotional showstopper of a performance.

SUMMARY
Winner of the 2009 Tony Award for Best Play, God of Carnage relates an evening in the lives of two couples, residents of a tony Brooklyn neighborhood, who meet to discuss a playground incident. Alan and Annette’s son hit Michael and Veronica’s son in the face with a stick, resulting in two broken teeth. The four of them agree to discuss the incident civilly, but, as the night wears on and drinks are imbibed, the polite veneer breaks down. The couples initially spar against each other, but the men gang up on the women and the spouses switch sides as the fighting continues. Reza’s play suggests that our civilized trappings do a poor job of hiding our venality and bile.

SUMMARY
An assortment of songs from musicals performed “miscast”. I want to build the show around the cast, so depending on those involved, there would be 15-20 numbers. The goal is to collaborate with my cast and pick songs they would “never” be considered for. My vision is for there to be solos, duets, and group numbers that are genderbent, changed from original race (stereotypical white roles sung by poc), or anything my cast would like to perform outside of their “type”!
